Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Prices.  Its Inception.

The history of air conditioners is closely related to that of refrigerators. After 1889 when central refrigeration started being used to preserve foods and documents, it was quite clear that the surroundings could be manipulated according to one’s wishes.

There was a constant effort by most of the scientists to bring refrigeration into the living rooms. The first person who succeeded in doing this was one Willis Haviland Carrier, a graduate from Cornell University, in 1902. Carrier built the first air conditioner for a printing press owner in Brooklyn.

His device successfully tackled the humid conditions in the press which were affecting the paper being printed. Carrier patented his technology in 1906 and called it an ‘Apparatus for Treating Air’. In the same year Stuart Cramer called this the Air Conditioning which caught on really fast.

Soon after establishing control over the humidity in the surroundings, Carrier successfully reigned over the temperature as well. The ‘Air Conditioner’ soared in popularity and many buildings around the United States started taking to A/Cs.

After the Second World War air conditioners also began to be demanded in huge quantities residentially. In 1947 the first instance of workers striking over heat and humidity and demands for air conditioning were witnessed.

In 1953 the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute was formed. In 1957 because of the introduction of compressors, air conditioners became smaller and more user-friendly. More recently air conditioners are being used to treat the air as well. Many air conditioners nowadays tackle the dust and other bacteria within the surroundings.
