However, if the team is too large for your home, you will have an increase in energy costs and less comfort. The large system will work for short periods, not allowing the unit to operate at full capacity or to maintain an even temperature throughout the house.
Do not assume that the size of the new equipment will be the same old team. Perhaps they have made changes, such as an addition to the house or insulation improvements. maybe the team was the wrong size when first installed. A contractor can calculate the correct size of your new system.
Place the capacitor in a place where it is protected from rain, snow or vegetation, as recommended by the manufacturer. Use a protective cover for the outdoor equipment during the winter to protect it from snow and ice. Provide enough space around the unit for service and maintenance.
Check the proper level of refrigerant charge and air flow through the records where fresh airs. Make sure the refrigerant charge level and airflow across the coils meet the manufacturer's recommendations.
