The fan is the heart of any air conditioner. It works by circulating air throughout the room. If you find some problems with air circulation, can be a problem with the air conditioning fan. Tools and materials needed: empty plastic container, torque wrench or a screwdriver, cleaning cloth, Ladder, Spray Cleaner, Gloves, Face Mask.

 

Before starting the air conditioner fan cleaning, make sure you wear gloves and face mask. This will prevent damage to yourself on sharp edges and inhalation of dust.

Each air conditioner is protected by a metal cover. To remove this cover, use a screwdriver and remove the screws. Put them in a safe place as you will need them later. Remove the cap slowly to avoid damaging parts. To remove the fan, unscrew the two screws that hold it in place. You may need to use a torque wrench.

For cleaning use tap water. Spray it on the fan and use a cloth to remove stains and dirt fixed. Handle carefully fan. Also uses spray cleaners. When using this, make sure the wiring is not touched by the spray solution. Remove any excess water or cleaner off the fan. Leave the fan to dry.

Replace the fan with torque wrench and screws. Tighten the screws and bolts to make sure the fan is secure. The fan should be placed correctly otherwise the vibrations can cause damage to the entire unit. Reinstall the cover. Plug-in air conditioning unit and a low temperature setting on the thermostat for the unit to start working immediately. Listen for any noise or vibration
