Ductless Systems Heating Cooling – CHECK THE AIR FILTER. 

Check the air filter in your furnace or fan coil every 4 or 4 weeks. A dirty filter will cause excessive strain on your furnace, air conditioner or heat pump. Replace your filter when necessary, or clean if reusable type. (If you have a reusable filter, make sure it is completely dry before reinstalling). The filter and the cells pickers electronic air cleaner should be cleaned at least two or three times a year. 

Ductless Air Conditioners Unit – CLEAN DUST.

Clean dust from the indoor coil. With a vacuum cleaner and soft brush attachment, you can remove any dust that is above and below the coil. Be sure to do this operation only when the coil is dry. If so can not you clean the coil, call your dealer. 

Ductless Systems – GARBAGE. 

If you keep your outdoor unit free of grass clippings, leaves, shrubbery and debris, it will require only minimal care to operate properly. Check the base pan (under the unit) and remove the junk so you can drain properly. If the outdoor coil becomes dirty, use a brush or vacuum cleaner with a soft brush to clean the surface. To clean earth deepened, call your dealer. 

Ductless Air Conditioning – UNITS IN COASTAL ENVIRONMENTS. 

If your unit is located near the sea coast, you can help preserve its optimal condition with a little extra care. The mist of the ocean and the sea breeze contain salt, which is corrosive to most metals. Although Carrier units are made of galvanized metal and are protected by premium paints, can give more life to your unit washing exposed surfaces and the coil approximately every three months. (Ask your installing contractor about the appropriate interval in your area).
